Noront does not need FNC land.

Sure it would be nice to have it, but why spend money or effort at this point in time. The only thing FNC has found to date is chrome, at depth. Noront has all the chrome it needs at the moment, and with their land holdings, can, no doubt, find more if needed.

Peter has lost interest in the property, and for good reason, and the only ones he could find to take it off his hands were Richard and company.

It does, though, give a pretty good description of things in the ROF. If Noront had found anything regionally, they would have been first at the gate to take up FNC land. Also, if CLF had any intention of moving on Noront, they would have certainly jumped at the prospect of getting rid of this chunk of land right in the middle for peanuts.

This does not mean I have changed direction regarding the ROF, but clearly things are stagnant until infrastructure questions are resolved.
