will there be a lot of disapointed FNs students if the elders screw this up? Not everyone wants to hunt and gather for eternity.

Matawa Students To Receive Training on State of the Art Computers to Prepare For Future Opportunities

Thunder Bay, Ontario – February 24, 2012: The Matawa Education Department invites the media to meet our students and tour our learning centre.

“Students who are completing high school in our learning centre, will begin training on Mackintosh Computers. Our goal is to open up pathways and opportunities for our students so that they will harness the opportunities that will come with resource development in the Ring of Fire and other areas in our First Nation territories”

Come visit us at Matawa First Nation Management, 233 Court St., Thunder Bay, Main Floor, February 28 at 10:30 am for the kick-off of the training. Meet students and staff. Take a tour of our Education facility and see first-hand how we are preparing our youth for success.
