I am highly in favour of releasing drill results and similar favourable news on Fridays.
In particular today instead of next one.
Why?
Fridays, especially in the morning, with an hour or two of trading halt, to garner attention and cause panicky trading for the afternoon before a weekend. Then there is the weekend for contemplation and analysis for possible further excited trading on Monday.
That is for Fridays in general.

Now why today instead of next Friday?
Yes because the following week is like a friday afternoon and the Christmas holidays like a weekend, both on a larger scale.
Of course the news would have to also be appropriate, I mean on a 'larger' scale.
Rarely is the world as ideal as we would have it, lol.
