It is on the edge of the reserve, the reagion is not in as environmentally sensitive area ( far north and park politics excepting), the people there must be in more need of jobs and finally it is not a Nahanni but Canadian Zinc's zinc and silver mine.

The natives there did slow things quite a bit and it turns out that it was not necessary. I did own quite a bit of those shares and got rid of most because of lack of patience with the locals. Yes some of that investment went into Noront.

As for Noront's, a different government and the big city environmentalists are closer at hand. So do not cheer too loud or too quickly.
