Hats off to Stan---good common sense.
The mine employs about 500 people, half of whom are of First Nations background and 100 come from Attawapiskat.
And a standing ovation to the developers of the Victory Mine---from the owners, to the managers, to the engineers, the stock holders and other investors, construction workers etc.----but especially to the 100 from Attawapiskat, real heroes IMO.
Lasting change comes from the bottom up not from the top down--you can try to
legisate morality (I consider a good work ethic moral) but it is developed over time until it becomes a part of the person, the society etc.. The politics of this mess on the first nations reserves---- the in ability of institutions to solve problems -----but especially the left wing thinking and retoric that is more concerned with who administers the funding than making sure the kids are looked after -----Wake up politicians and people alike---throwing money at it will not solve the problem it is a moral one IMO
