It is a sad state of affairs indeed lethalgal.
Without a doubt somethings very wrong in the community, unfortunataly this is a situation that is often mirrored to varying degrees on reserves all arcross this great country. I have first hand experience with such and have been witness to such living conditions.
I guess that there must not have been much "compensation"within the Impact Benefit Agreement signed in 2005 with Debeers.
"The agreement sets out how the community will benefit with respect to employment and business
opportunities, training and education, sound environmental management and financial compensation
for loss of the use of the land while it is being mined."
