Thanks Not, Thats not a not Not. I didn't mean for you or anyone to come up with this info. It was just a couple of questions that I thought someone might have genral answers to. I am with you that 3.4 tons of the glittery stuff is not much especially for a country rich in this resource. Personally I would think the government should be hedging their bets on where our global economies are headed. Obviously, from what you have discovered, 74 other countries have done such. I know that Canada is supposed to be in quite a good financial position but if things collapse around us we will surely feel the effects. Those are pretty impressive lists of holdings in our CPP account. With just a quick preview it appears that equities listed on the junior exchange are not eligable as holdings. I may be wrong but it looks this to be the case. Just think of the lost CPP value when our little NOT rockets to the moon. Thanks again for your effort. Interesting info. the deputy
