Matawa Tribal Council made headlines a few weeks ago by publicly stating that they were withdrawing support for the Ring of Fire development. We need to remember that there are different points of view in Northwestern Ontario's many Aboriginal communities.

The vast majority of whom see the mining sector as a key way of alleviating their impoverished living conditions.
