Since most of them cant see past the next election, asking them to look 10,20 or gasp, 100 years into the future is quite the stretch. Up until 60 odd years ago, homes being built in Toronto had their sewage line dumped straight into Lake Ontario. Hmm, lets hope we've progressed.
