I picked up the phone and spoke to a very nice and very knowledgeble engineer by the name of Jeff Kulpa at Ashlawn Energy in Painsville Ohio.

I told him that I was on the Ashlawn website and was intriuged by the Vanadium Redox flow through battery.

Of course during the conversation, I spoke of Noront and their discoveries and spoke of Mcguinty and Samsung and Windmills and Vanadium. ( He had heard about the Samsung Ontario deal, but had not heard of Noront. I gave him the website for Noront)

I was delighted to hear that One megawatt Vanadium Re-dox flow through batteries were already installed and working great in places like Austrailia, China and Japan.

I asked him, when are you going to have your product available on a larger scale. He told me July 2012 (certainly not 5 or 10 years from now).

So, I said , "if I placed an order today can I get product in July 2012." I was told yes.

I spoke about the ROF and the slurry pipeline and the 30 MW of diesel.

He mentioned that a combination of Wind and the Vanadium REdox flow though battery system could account for 80% of the power requirement. You would need to provide approx. 20% alternate backup just to be on the safe side.

I'm thinking about all the windmills Samsung will be building in Ontario ..for Ontario and the rest of the world. Would be nice to supply a back up system for this as a package.

It makes the Noront Thunderbird Anomoly even more exciting and promising.
