The Anatomy of a Leak

Sometimes a leak is just a little thing and it takes a while to gain momentum.For example someone at one of the logistic companies gets a call to prepare to ramp up the camp for additional drill crews when they were told earlier there wouldn’t be a fall program. It doesn’t take much to imagine that something good, but not earth shattering, might be happening. A few people start to trade on this news and it starts to drive a bit of volume but no major price shifts. Add to this one large trade and volume /activity start triggering NOT followers to figure out what is going on.Volume picks up, price picks up , rumours pick up and a lot of hope that something big is/has happened.

Follow this with a formal announcement that NOT is moving ahead with an unscheduled drill program base on a geophysics program in progress and people read into it that they must have found something to justify the behaviour. Hopefully there is.
