India Calling for Chrome Export Ban

Chrome's strategic value may be increasing. I read an Austrailian OP/ED piece, from a paid site which I can't post, that the African National Congress in South Africa has commissioned a "nationalization report" due next June.

Echos of their neighbour to the north Zimbabwe! South Africa is the major producer of chromite which has significant military applications as well as general industrial uses with no subsitutes.
