I totally agree with your premise.

The hard fact is that we have NO geologists on the ground slogging through the hinterland searching for more minerals.(gold,copper,diamonds ) although we have staked so much territitory that it could add to the possibilties and increase our bottom line.

Ergo we will have no new findings as it seems we are staying with the status quo.

Without these "new" discoveries, we have "put all our eggs into the same basket" and are waiting for the governments to build us the infrastructure (energy,roads, rail etc...) before we can move forward.
