I had a great time like everyone else at this tourney. It was a great day, very well organised by Ken-I tip my hat to you sir-and everyone there that I talked to enjoyed it.
Kaitlyn stole the show as others have mentionned but I had the pleasure of driving this young lady home along with mom of course. Well, even after 10pm, she was still able to chat it up and it is easy to see that Ingrid is doing a wonderful job of raising her daughter.
I had the pleasure of golfing with Positive Carry, Greg Rieveley CFO and a friend of mine, Kevin. Between the 4 of us, we had played 3 rounds of golf all year and found ourselves at -2 after 4 holes and thought we were going to win this thing hands down. Well, 3 of us did. PC reminded us that 18 holes is a very long time...How right you were sir! Greg was a great host to the foursome and bought some drinks and for a young gentleman, has a good background and education (UBC grad).
I was hoping to catch up to Wes later in the night and I did get my chance. I got to chat with him and Paul Semple. Nothing earth shattering came out of the conversation but they talked about how between them, they have build 20 mines and that this one is a given that it will be built. They have enough money for the next 16 months if they want to stretch it. Wes said that he hopes to not have to do another PP but the posibility is that they probably will have to. They have had political discussions with all three parties but had the most positive discussions with the NDP.
From my perspective, this is probably a great thing because as it looks now, we may have a minority government led by the PC and proped up by the NDP. The NDP usually do well in northern Ontario and the PC are leading by 2.5 pts overall.
However, someone else pointed out that there is still risks of us going lower. If Greece defaults-which is looking more likely everyday-then everything will take a hit, even Noront at these prices. The other risk is tax loss selling season. So even though Noront is cheap, nothing says it cannot get cheaper...as ridiculous as that sounds from our current price of 46 cents.
