What I do hope happens ,no matter if the route is north-south or east- west, is that any bridges that are built are built to railway standards even if for road use. I think in time, if not from the get go, that rail will prevail as the most economic way of transport. I would hate to think of building a second set of bridges due to this lack of forethought.
