Provincial debate will be held Sept.27

Originally the debate was to be Sept.22 but then someone brought up that this was the day for Rosh Hashanah and the debate is now Sept.27. I'll be watching.

Provincial election debate scheduled for Sept. 27

The provincial election debate will be held on Sept. 27, the Ontario TV Debate Consortium announced on Friday.

The announcement by the media consortium of Global, CBC, CTV, TVO and Sun News Network said that the debate, running from 6:30 p.m. ET to 8:00 p.m. would include leaders from the Liberal, NDP and Progressive Conservative parties.

The participants will be Dalton McGuinty of the Liberal party, Tim Hudak of the Progressive Conservative party and Andrea Horwath of the New Democrats.

The venue, location, format and moderator will be announced shortly.
