Message: Big Money
Thanks for your post B-JAY.
I was interested primarily in the 2 billion dollar IPO.
"SHANGHAI Aug 12 (Reuters) - China Railway Material (CRM), which is involved in steel trading and the railway products business, is planning a dual-listing in Hong Kong and China to raise about $2 billion in the first half of 2012."
Isn't is very uncanny that the ROF railroad is valued at 2 billion dollars?
Also interesting is this:
State-owned CRM has mandated China International Capital Corp, Citic Securities and UBS to handle the listing
Do you remember McGuinty's visit to HONG KONG, Nov. 3-4, 2010. Do you remember he met with Citic for purposes of RING OF FIRE. Do you remember Citic opening up their 1st North American headquarters 2 months later (Jan.19, 2011) on Bay Street?
Back in Jan. 28, 2011 I remember seeing this NR: (Look at Baosteel's involvement with this transaction below.)
"It is reported that BaoSteel and China Railway Materials Corporation have signed rail supply order contract with the initial delivery of 9,000 tonnes.
The metro rail will be in Beijing on the 8th and 10 line laying. Clad steel rail for the first time into the Beijing subway, subway for the next step into the national market off to a good start."
To conclude: a couple of days ago we got this news: McGuinty wants to go back to China for a visit.
McGuinty, wanting to go to China again..acting in a brazen like manner..
".....Canada's premiers had already asked the federal government to lead a Team Canada-style trade mission to China and India at their annual meeting this summer but McGuinty had skipped the announcement after heading home early to deal with a rash of forest fires.
The premier timed Saturday's announcement to co-ordinate with events honouring local Chinese, Indian and Pakistani communities -- something New Democrat MPP Peter Kormos dismissed as cynical pandering for votes.
"Mr. McGuinty is being very brazen and highly presumptuous to make plans for these travel junkets before the election," Kormos said in an interview. "It's questionable whether this highly politicized travel delivers any results for Ontarians."
The Tories did not respond to a request for comment on McGuinty's announcement."
