Message: OT but interesting

Yesterday I spoke with a trucker passing through Dryden on his way to northern California. He was hauling one half of an ore crushing drum. It measured 16 feet by 16 feet and was about 4 inches thick. He had picked the drum up from a closed mine near James Bay and had come down through Chiboughama Quebec.

I can hardly imagine the cost of such a move but it must be cheaper then constructing a new one. Wondering if there wasn't some place closer that could have used it?
