Think Ft. McMurray in Alberta. Fantastic $$$$'s are made on-site by skilled / semi skilled folks from all across Canada. Even better $$$$'s are being made by even more engineering, management and professional personnel living and working in Calgary and Edmonton. Why do politicians think 'special interest' groups. Remember the phrase WIIFM (What's In It For Me?).
If we want to see progress in the RoF from this clown, he'd better come up with a plan to make the folks in "The Big Smoke" wealthy and interested too!
Something like the lure of Wahoo adventure, unbelievable new technologies, frontier rowdyness & commradarie plus of course the consumer lure of fantastic O&G $$$$'s. That's the type of message that motivated skilled and professional types to move west back in the 70's
