Though I wouldn't discount news not coming when people might expect, this makes absolutely no sense from a predictive standpoint. For any political party to not use a guaranteed flashy platform issue to their advantage would be beyond comprehension. I wouldn't expect that environment, FN issues or anything else would weigh negatively given the economic needs and potential gains. People would rather eat first and worry about other things later.
