Sum,

A lot of people didn't notice it was a joke as there would be no significant difference in the weight between a core at .9% Ni. and one of 5% Ni as far as getting it out of the ground.

Please stand corrected on the weight of drill core. My calculations show that the higher grade drill core would be ~70% heavier (using penlandite with a sg of 4.8 as the nickel mineral - vs rock with a sg of 2.75).

This is how we know high grade core in Sudbury - it takes two people to handle the core boxes.
