We have rules on here that we all try to follow. Like it or lump it, they are basically rules of civility. When someone tries to turn a board against a few individuals who in good faith are trying to maintain our board to the rules, it should send up a red flag.

In particular, inflammatory posts, expressing anger in a demeaning manner are not really ok, or pleasant to read. If you feel you have a legitimate beef, take it to Agoracom, or complete your thoughts by pm....but remember, the rules stand. Banning is unpleasant, but, in some cases at some point, banning happens.

I have noticed that when the board starts to turn ugly, when posters try to usurp a respected poster of long duration, expecially when it is oft times someone fairly new to this board, it mean "let's get them fighting." Also, one should be watching the share price carefully....we usually start that long climb up as the questionable posts crescendo.

Here's hoping the pattern has some validity.
