Friends,
Todays NR prompted me to call the office to get some more insight into the hiring of Eric Mosley.
Wes is on his way back from Hong Kong and will be in the office Monday. I did get right through to Amanda who was pleasant. We had a relaxed conversation in which she was able to share a little bit of what is happening internally at the company. It just took a little smoothness on my part to coax more info out of her as the call went.
Eric Mosley is more than capable of heading this team is what I was told. If you were to google search his name, make sure to also insert "Ontario" of "Canada" as there is also a U.S. chap of the same name that is a specialist in petroleum exploration---not the same guy. That was the reason for my call mainly. I asked if we might get a bit more info on Mr. Mosley and his background in addition to the limited info released today. She did say that this might be info shared on the NOT website. His name did come up with ties to Agnico Eagle, which Amanda could not confirm. She did confirm that our technical committee is still intact minus Jeremy.
I asked if we could be getting news on the winter program, her response was elevated and she said "soon". They are still waiting on results to come in. Regional exploration results will be included in a seperate release.
Camp is active and drills are turning, this she was able to confirm. How many drills? - she couldn't confirm.
I asked about the 2012 plans that were part of the news today and the fact that there was no mention of AT12 specifically, going forward. She told me that this did not mean that AT12 was somehow now on the backburner, but rather very much to the contrary. More specifics should be forthecoming. Their complete focus right now is the Eagles Nest and Blackbird - feasibility and permitting.
She let me know that a bit of restructuring has happened in the office, she did not know of when a new board member would be named.
Amanda is also responsible for the new upgraded website which will be more informative and investor friendly. She admitted to taking many calls about the depressed share price from other investors. She said that everyone at Noront is unhappy with the share price being where it is and that they could not pinpoint any reason for the decline. All the exploration progress has been positive. We concurred that the infrastructure is what is putting the straglehold on things yet.
I did have a few questions about drilling that I expect a return call on. Will share a bit more later.
Hold those shares!
