Just when I was thinking of voting NDP, for the first time in my life !!!

He lost me with two issues, one being his stand on ABORTON and now his stupid stand on the longun rigistry, my issue is not that I have to register my guns, but the fact that it is a totally useles waste of our tax dollar, think how many lives could have been saved if that THREE BILLION DOLLARS had been spent in health care!!! Our member here in Gander Scott Simms did an about face on his stand, after he told me, standing in the parking lot of Walmart here that he was against it, then he goes and votes to keep it, his excuse was that his father comitted suicide with a long gun, NOW, do you mean to tell me that if the gun he used had been registered that he would be alive today ????? As a matter of fact MAYBE IT WAS REGISTERED ??

The longer I live the the more I am convinced that MOST politians no longer have a mind of their own once they enter politics, (1) they vote as they are told, (2) they will say what they think the voter wants to hear, not necessarily what their own convictions are.
