We already can go solo and I for one would prefer it that way.<p>

What is holding us back is those infrastructures. We do not have enough resource to make it worth while for us to build them our selves. Even Cliffs does not want to, profits being the motivation<p>

Partnerships would help, But probably everyone in the Ring is waiting for government to become a major partner. Without them no one wants to make the first move, not even Cliffs.<p>

It is the onus on the Ontario government because whether we want it or not, they are a partner due to the taxes they will collect, so they need to invest in the region and not be a free loader at the Ring's table.
