Not long after that I posted that the gurus are pointing to a significant market retracement and it began to happen....before Japan. Now I hear again from the gurus that, Japan or no, the market has not bottomed yet. I get this from two particular sources, one of which usually says just ride through it. So, if you are planning to hold NOT...great, if you are planning to get more ....be careful. Volumes are pretty thin so there isn't much weight behind the price lift and a significant amount will be traders. Keep your eyes peeled.

Now if NOT really wants to make a dent with the next N.R., I would suspect they would wait for smoke to clear. The perfect time would be when the bottom is felt to be in place in the markets, then you'd really have a nice ride up.
