extra smoothing out? How about NO smelter means NO mine!!! Seems pretty final to me in an investment point. Now there could be other insentives that could be given at the bargaining tables, but at what costs for these? Whatever is done, a quick solution is the better route, there does not need to be one side that is stuck in mud. Power is the BIG thing, but not the only thing. Dedicated to Cliffs hydro power plant is the solution and I still can't figure out how Sudbury has dealt with the power for the last hundred years without ITS own power supply seperate from the common grid, Maybe it has, I have not researched that yet.
