"While the Greenstone area is their first choice for the FPF, the company behind the project dealt a pair of blows to regional communities last week. Cliffs Natural Resources, a Cleveland-based company, first labeled Sudbury’s brownfield area as its best case, giving it a leg up on other competing communities, including Thunder Bay and Timmins."
Now consider the following scenario: CLF says we must have it where we want it....FN say no way man, you put it where we want it, CLF says no...FN say yes...CLF no...FN..Yes. FN then blockade. Nonsense goes on for a while while sp's languish and guess who picks up cheap shares? Suddenly CLF says ok to FN. CLFs now comes out with offers for bird feed and strangely enough....companies seem to go for these prices....I would wonder why?
The above is totally a fictional scenario but implies that what is going on now has more to do with politics than exploration. We know the stuff is there. CLF knows it's there. At this point it's a game of acquistion and who's going to get it.....the cheapest. I think we're being set up to be raped and the only defense is a competent and stealthy BOD and exploration crew. Will they shine for us? We'll see.
Disclosure: No NOT shares currently. Will be looking to pick some up in March or April. SP could most certainly go up in that time. I'm not concerned. I'll be playing in other sandboxes until something moves in NOT or I'm ready to define a low. It may already be there but I'll wait for my sense of it or a trend. Bye the bye, not much has ever been mentioned on the conditional buy where you set a buy on a trigger price so as to catch upward movement before it gets away. Like the stop loss it isn't perfect but it has it's uses.
