NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
And while 'AT It', it would do only more good if you were to keep up on Probe Mines.
If RANKING the various RoF (South Centre) area Claims Holders by demonstrated Exploration Success, To Date, then the following Ranking would very likely be reality.
And note, given personal preferences and individual approaches to Investing, there is not too much distance in the spacing between these Rankings. Not for myself. at least!
#1. Cliff's - due to having the Chromite. The Camp Development Vehicle.
#2. Noront Resources - due to having early initial exploration success in a very big way. Then for having staked some of the better most prospective Claims in the immediate area and subsequently through out the broader RoF area.
The Down Side with respect to NOT is both their Management at present AND that they will have to be a Follow On, riding Cliff's coat tails.
#3. Toss Up between Probe Mines (PRB - V), UC Resources (UC-V), and KWG Resources (KWG-V).
Both Probe Mines and UC Resources having Excellent proximity Claims with proven very good Mineralization. With both also having Excellent extensive additional very prospective Claims in the immediate area of Prime Focus.
KWG Resources for having a very considerable portion of the Big Daddy Chromite Deposit. Arguably the very best location to commence Mine Development! And equally having a very considerable portion of the KWG/SPQ Claims JVed to UC Resources, who is due to officially own 55% of these KWG/SPQ Claims come March 31th, 2011.
The down side for UC is that they likely will be tied up for considerable time hammering out the "Follow On Agreement" respecting the 55% Ownership due to having to do this with KWG and Cliff's. This being but a Time Issue makes it relative to the desires of both Cliff's and KWG, but should not impede UC from realizing Full Value, either via the Folow On agreement OR should there be an offer to Buy UC Resources Out to secure some very Valuable Mineral Claims.
The down side for KWG is Cliff's. Cliff's owns ~ 19.3% of KWG already and can play Hard Ball with KWG and it's (Cliff's) majority ownership of the Big Daddy Chromite Deposit. Thus, making it difficult for KWG to realize the Full Value of their Big Daddy Chromite Deposit interests in a normally Timely Manner. But KWG equally has potential to play Hard Ball, if having another significant Major Mining Co. take interest. See this as a battle of Wills VS Self Interest.
The down side for PRB would be that Cliff's decides to ignore their Strategically located Black Creek Chromite Deposit. However, Cliff's would RISK doing this at their Peril. Should another Major take interest and go for KWG, it would make very good sense to do so in conjunction with having a deal with PRB to acquire PRB's Black Creek Chromite Deposit, which is also a very excellent location to commence mining Chromite.
Thus, the big question/unknown here is: What will Cliff's do in regard to both KWG and PRB?
Do they already have some kind of understanding, if not an as yet to be formailzed Agreement, with either or both of KWG and or PRB?
Otherwise, given the actions, in terms of agreements (notably between NOT and PRB respecting their previously formed JV Claims in the immediate area around NOT's Eagles Nest), frequency, size, and with whom, Private Placements have been completed, along with the rather much increased indensity of Drilling of respective properties both within the area of Focus in the RoF as well as on many other properties (by FNC and PRB in particular and UC via the Mexican government support in Mexico) as well as equally in terms of these companies (and FNC to some extent) Share Price behaviour beginning back in August 2010.
And with all this, the Provincial Government stepping up and subsequently persisting in PROMOTING all things Ring of Fire.
