Another type of consolidation stategy could be going on in the ROF. Cliffs and Noront butted heads but now we hear they are (or might be) cooperating. Cooperation occurs when the sides see themselves as similar in stength/power. How could that happen with big dog Cliffs in the game.

How about if there is a strong, united shareholder group with a common objective supporting a number of the ROF players. The Noront/Probe land flip, that Sept buying activity connecting Noront, Probe, WPR and UC. Maybe these and others have and are consolidating behind the scenes at shareholder levels. Others maybe involved and some like FNC and AGO (Tribute) have gotten out of the way. Like Edgy's, my comments are totally speculative and have nothing factual to support them. Maybe this consortiums objectives are: to make money and; to keep the ROF Cdn.. Could they go toe to toe with Cliffs, why not?
