"THERE IS A SMELTER IN TIMMINS!" Yes but it is set up for copper and similar metals i.e nickel, so it is more usefull to Noront. Second part is that it is fairly distant from the ore source as is Thunder Bay. So I say Nakina with it's nearness for a brand new plant. Expensive at first but one has to look at the savings over time, and it will be a long time. Nakina is the most economical plan imho. It also works towards developing an area that sorely needs it, don't forget the natives. So it has to be a high priority for the province as a whole. If there is news that is in common between Cliffs and Noront it is the transportation route. Not much room for anything else unless they smoked a peace pipe together and are about to partner on a chromite smelter, where ever. Just my speculation.
