the quote of the day is absolutely correct. Are we being idle here?

QUOTE OF THE DAY

Determine Never To Be Idle. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing

- Thomas Jefferson

This is how I imagine the thinking of paying yourself 1 million. Wes' main job is to travel around and attempt to mingle with the majors. Phone calls, conferences, meetings, with individuals of producing companies paid much more then a jr grassroots mining company whose feasibility is still debatable. Slowly over the months, he starts thinking of himself as a producing company because Noront has the potential to be just like those he's mingling with.

At the very least, due to Wes' past success with other companies, I'm sure he sees himself on par with Cliffs execs and feels he should be paid like them as well. A certain amount of denial, self-delusion, and arrogance comes with the job of a grass-roots jr exploration company who hopes one day to be much grander in stature. In the mean time, did he not learn his lesson after losing a bid war with Cliffs over FWR, that Noront is not a mini-major, nor do it's principal investors have limitless wallets.

Wes should not be thinking he has atonement with Noront's principal investors, he is a public company CEO on the venture exchange who is paid by public investors willing to take a chance with him.

The more I think about the arrogance, the more the toilet calls. If Smith had Fancamp shareholders pay him 1 mil dollars, he would no longer be CEO. Several of us would guarantee that. For those who hold sway over NOT share percentage, perhaps you need to be less idle.
