hi jackie..I think it is unfair to assume the crews were not up to the job. These guys work very hard and are very skilled at their jobs, but they are within limits of the equipment they have.Beleave it or not they feel challenged buy the task at hand and they dont like to loose. If the hole fails they are just as disapointed as we are, give them a break...

I have friends who are diamond drillers, and I have to call you out on this one. Maybe the drill leads are fairly skilled (which I believe in), but don't blame it all on the equipment. The junior hands need some TLC too. Regardless of what their emotional status is, on whether or not they "like to lose," when a hole fails, they need to be held more accountable than this kind of tolerance. Tough love.

Sometimes it is the equipment. Sometimes it is the people.
