Those dollars are in the ground. Once you bring them up and try to collect them from the market those dollars are gone because of being eaten up by operating costs.
With noront's Eagle, even if one were to go alone, meaning build an all year road and transport the ore to Timmins or Thunder Bay there would still be substantial profits.
A more favourable alternative of course is to wait for the rail line to be built. Even if we contribute to the cost we will have even greater profits.
My point - In ground dollars mean nothing until you try to sell the metal to the market.
Those are the only dollars that count.
Eagle's Nest is just loaded with those, environmental, native or 'swamp' reasons included.
