What I find interesting about this whole FNs events and consultation thing is that Cliffs is not attempting to do anything at this time. They do not seem to be talking with anyone but the provincial government. Is Cliffs thinking that an open pit and a rail line will be run into James Bay wetlands without FNs onside. Noronts is so far ahead on construction plans and consultations to make a mine doable, that the Eaglesnest will be sold/mined and the profits in my pocket. And Noront will have the infrastructure to start selling chromite from underground before Cliffs can dike off an area to set up an outhouse. Noront will be first to open the store. Ice road/all season road is coming and the plan to mine is the best for the area. Cliffs may be selling their chromite back to Noront/FNs because no one will let them mine it with a sledgehammer. Cliffs paid $400million for the chromite and after Noront/other has been allowed to make $8 billion + from the nickel/pge they will have the money to buy Cliffs out. Cliffs needs to remember where they are trying to work.
