What I find incredible is we just came out with our longest intercept to date 200 meters of 2% (equiv.) NI with PGEs pending and our share price is down 15% from BEFORE that news came out! Can't even begin to tell you the irrationality of this. Man, Dundee knows how to work a deal!!! I bet they promote this to the stars when they close." -NevilleD
Let me throw this out: based on Noront's latest SP drop,
1) disappointment/distrust of management rewarding themselves despite our impatience,
2) the nickel that they've found is disappearing, washing away in the marsh,
3) the nickel is not enough to make a mine and they won't find more,
4) the nickel isn't economical due to lack of infrastructure and high cost of access.
5) nickel price drop,
6) anything else?
my response:
1) yes, true, but that to me would constitute a non-related fundamental SP drop (within the context of exploration universe of the concept of fundamentals) -thus an chance to buy cheap before SP rebounds to where market who bases investments on ore value feel it belongs.
2) had to throw in a laugh,
3) who knows? When assuming there is not more ore, the assumption is as much guess work as assuming there is more ore. The experts think there is. Perhaps investors think the experts are biased and E-nest is all Noront will ever have. Well most are biased. But how much ore do we have right now and does SP reflect it?
4) Cliffs is going for it 1.5 bil or more. Gov't will help where they can. Most think infrastructure will happen, perhaps some investors don't. If you think it is, then anyone holding land will have renewed interest no matter how much ore they've found. There will be a land bidding war. Noront's land alone I think justifies a base of 1.05, and I assume more. Eitherway, risk is reduced by the amount of land they have.
5) nickel price is $1 less then 1 year high, and a little under 5-year-average, which is all-together way above Voisey's nickel price. http://www.estainlesssteel.com/zmetalsandstockcharts.shtml Sorry, I don't know much about pricing Noront's other ores. Other considerations pricing Noront at futures vs. spot.
6) Anything else. Impatience. Time to buy other stocks. Legit reason. Take a wash.
Your thoughts.
