I actually believe the situation with PRB is very pertinent to Not.

I, and I would guess most individuals that follow this and other NOT related forums, are particularly interested in what it is going to take, and where NOT is going, both short term and long, and a very good indicator of this is the smaller players surrounding our properties.

It would appear that the only thing that tends to drive the SP up in recent months, is the prospect of a buyout. Look at the history behind this theory.

FWR made it public that they were looking for a buyer. CLF came up and paid 4 times the recent share price to take them out.

SPQ made it public that they were interested in a buyout. CLF came up and paid 4 times their recent share price.

PRB has rationalized their holdings and positioned themselves for a buyout offer, and based on previous situations has created a scenario where they could get in excess of 4 times their recent Share price.

NOT is not for sale as far as any of us understand. If they were to do so, it doesn't take a great stretch of imagination to suggest they could also see a 4 fold increase in SP.

If, as I believe, they are holding information which justifies considerably more exploration before any suggestion goes out regarding a sale of the company or it's ROF assets, it naturally follows that there is solid argument for an eventual selling price far in excess of the 4-5 dollar SP that today's trading suggests.

Just a few reminders;

I bought FWR in early 2008 for .17/share when everyone was despairing

I bought SPQ a year ago for .03, when everyone shunned it.

I bought PRB recently when they announced the split with NOT for .40/share.

Each and every one of those buyouts should be considered when deciding to hold or fold NOT.

Best regards

K
