I have noticed very few posters who fully support our BOD. Even those that do might be receptive to the appointment of a Director committed to being supportive of retail investors' concerns.
This does not appear to be in the cards for the upcoming AGM. About the only action along these lines I can see us taking would be to raise the issue as a question, and I doubt that such a query would receive a helpful answer.
The big bugbear I have seen raised is that only the full slate of Directors can be voted upon. My question is: How can this be changed? There must be a means by which a different resolution could be framed. I have in mind a resolution giving an opportunity to all shareholders to vote for individual directors. If this can be succesfully implemented, retail shareholders (perhaps marshalled by this forum) would be able to concentrate their votes to elect a "retail friendly" director. This is an outline only, and I am raising the question to provoke an answer from our experts, which we do have, as to whether some such scenario is possible and how we should proceed. Who knows? It might even be possible to bring something like this to fruition without even waiting until the next AGM.
So, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Who will shoot this down? Or who will project a path we could follow?
All just IMHO.
Best wishes, O.F.
