God evening Babjak: I personally know precisely just what you are going through . My beloved poop taught me this . She still occaisionaly rattles her food dish, or playfully pulls my blankets off of me - my wife has seen them being drawn to the foot of the bed ???.

She loved to sit next to the bed then just sorta slide down shaking the bed. My wife has noticed this also, but strangely she is not scared or upset, on the contrary.

Don't ask me to explain these things, other than yes, they do remain in the vicintiy for some time and let you know in many little ways that they are still there and understand, IF you let them.

Even today, many times out of the corner of my eye, I see her pass by, whether it is a residual memory or not, it is comforting to feel that she is still there to take care of me.

I suggest leaving her food dish and water bowl where it normally is for a period yet, this sorta lets her know how you feel. She in turn may even be able to move it, or in some way will show you that somehow, she is still there for a while yet. to me it was very comforting, in between bawling and sniffling periods..

My poop was a Golden Retriever / German Shepard comb. She was about 75 - 80 lbs and understood over 45 commands in English, Spanish or hand signals, we could actually cummunicate. Many time she would anticipate a new command ??? and she trusted me completely, as I her.

Yes, I still miss her, at times desperatey, but remember, you are not alone, there are many, many others in here that know just how you feel, you are not alone.
