Maybe you should ask how much they are paying for that hole, how much infrastructure and technology is available to Chile?

The lives of 33 miners is far higher value than our core, which has been underground for millions of years, won't be moving, and will still hold the same value to humanity no matter how long we await its delivery to the surface.
