For those of you wishing to call the Noront office or anywhere in North America free of charge this email is for you. I have my dad to thank for showing me how. I learned how to do this today and it will save me good bucks. Means MORE NORONT SHARES WITH THE SAVINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All you need is a computer (windows XP minimum or a mac) with a microphone built into it and internet.

If you don't have a microphone built into your computer you can go to a computer store and get a universal head set which will work too.

I am very un-computer savvy. The first thing that I did was to pull out my owner's manual for my laptop to see if I even had a microphone. I found that I did have a built in microphone (yeah!) and it is at the top of the laptop screen (looks like a very small pinhole). ( My 9 3/4 year old daughter was in school so I couldn't ask her for help!)

If you already know how to do this, just stop reading.

I found this out only today and I am thrilled. Made my first free long distance call to my sister who lives in Jacksonville Florida. (used to be $30 bucks per call before we stopped yapping ) 4 phone calls was 100 noront shares for petes sake!

I can call my friends in the USA for free with my computer my dad mentioned this will be coming to the iphone very soon. Wow is all I can say. (not that I have an iphone yet!)

Instructions: (please pm me for help if you can't get this to work. I'll do my best to guide you through.

Here it goes:

(1) go to www.google.com

(2) click on gmail

(3) if you don't have an account click on create an account.

once you open this you need to fill in:

first name,

last name,

desired login -----@gmail.com

choose a password

re-enter password

security question

answer

recovery mail

what country are you from

word verification(just retype the words you see)( the letters are nasty and a bit hard to decipher. I had to do this twice)

Then you click I accept to the conditions and then you get the congratulations you signed up for gmail.

Next: click on show me my account

Once you do this, look to the left and scroll down.

You will see this little icon that looks like a phone and it's called call phone (click on it)

You will see calls to Canada and USA are free (click on accept and install)

Then click on install voice and video chat

Then click on restart browers now

once you do this you'll get congratulations on installing google voice and video chat

Click on "start chatting right now from gmail

Once you do this look to the left and scroll down

click on call phone

to the right you'll see a little phone pad appear. click on the flag to select your country.

then click the specific numbers for the phone number you are dialing (ie Noront's office-he he Jackie)

then click call
