I share both opinions because I think it is a combination of impact and intrusion from below. Note I am not a geologist, just basic engineering experience speaking.

I assume from the shape that it is a meteoric impact which cracked the crust in a near circular pattern of concentric rings and then magma came up through the cracks to seal the gaps and then solidified.

Most if not all resources found are at the locations where the magma came up. Also I expect many more to be found as they continue to drill along those cracks, i.e. now EM annomalies.
