I am sorry you feel this way, I truly am. But I just went through an unbelievable ordeal in order to simply secure an air rifle (pellet gun) because it shoots over 495 feet per second. I purchased it in the good ole US of A and the folks that sold it to me in Sioux Falls, South Dakota said," Not a problem selling this to you, a Canadian. It's only an air gun!!!" To make a long story short, my air gun sat at the border for 3 1/2 weeks while I waited for a permit from our wonderful registry so I could go and pick it up just to bring it home... not to mention the extra $40 in gas to go back and get it...

You want to register handguns, go for it. I own 2 and have no problems with that because I can see where they can be concealed and used much more easily in crime. You want to break the habbit of gun use in crime??? Then get TOUGH on criminals who use these weapons to break the law and intimidate/harm people for their crimes. People are the problem, not the guns. I guarentee you that you could go on the street and buy any kind of gun you want, if you have enough money. I knew a Philipino gentleman about 15 years ago who worked for my room-mate at the time who had very strong ties to his country where he was very high in the military there. He boasted that he could supply me with any weapon I desired, if I could afford it. Now that is scary. He said for enough money, he could get me a tank, but I did not believe him on that. He was quite adament that it could be done, however. Sure. But, handguns, automatic weapons were not a problem for this gentleman. I never found out because I am not THAT crazy!

So, gun registry, abolish it. Handgun registry? Always been in place and always should be.

Noront needing to get their nickel mined so they can manufacture more nickel plated barrels that last longer on the long guns...

Go Noront Go!!!

God Bless all Noront Investors.
