Dont underestimate the stupidity of politicians. The Australian government just recently destroyed their entire commodities sector with a new tax, which is a huge part of their economy...just like it is Canada. Take a look at any Australian resource company and look for the major drop in SP a few months ago.

Now the reaction and pullback was so large that it appears that they will revise this new tax, but the damage is done and the private sector saw what their governments intentions are.

It's a great thing that McGuinty praised the ROF in his Crown Speech...but this guy has proven time after time that the economy is not his top priority, which is how he gets voted in. I'm on the side that this will all get worked out in the end but I also think we have yet to see the major posturing that will no doubt be a part of this process.

Risk=reward and this stuff is not for the faint of heart. I personally have no doubt that all this political stuff weighs heavily on our share price.

I still want to know how we can be assured that we'll be blockade-free this winter.
