$9.88/lb. this morning... down a bit from it's $10 showing, but still showing a nice supporting base for it to MOVE UPWARD!!!!!! If memory serves me correctly, the feasibility study done by Richard Nemis was done at the $9.00/lb. It would sure be nice to see nickel stay at this level or higher.

I was talking to a friend of mine a few days back who works in the investment industry here in Winnipeg and he was telling me that his direction from his bosses was that the base metal and precious metal markets were the place to be for the next while. He couldn't say what the next while was, but he did mention that the timeframe should be very suitable for Noront, should it bring this orebody out of the ground itself and NOT be bought out for pittance. I have talked to him regarding this stock for the last couple of years. Too bad it's out of his realm of investments as he deals strictly with TSX and mutual funds etc... Oh well, his loss I guess.

I also spoke with an old friend of mine the other day (all right, he is younger than me, just been friends for quite a while) and he reminded me of what we are playing with here. The Eagle 1 Lense A,B and C are still in the ground, not evaporated, and WILL be mined. I would put all my money (hypothetically speaking, of course) on the bet that it will begin to be mined in the next 5 years minimum. If Wes is smart, and I do believe he is, he would take a page from Richard Nemis and get his permits in place to start blasting the A Lens out as SOON as Possible and start trucking out the super high grade ore stuff... IF Wes can do that, he just might get a leg up on the other company in the area (Cliffs {spit on floor}) and get some very serious cash to build what we need to mine the rest of our resources... Just the way I see that. Mining this next winter or starting November, 2011 and hauling out the 6%+ nickel directly to a smelter via ice road would get us back on track to possibly becoming the "King of the Ring"... well, make that the ONLY way we might get that title back. Just my humble opinion. Might speed up the interest of any pertinent Majors who haven't shown any interest publicly too ;-}
