Dear Editor:
I am a resident of southern Ontario and my taxes are about to be used to subsidize a gamble in the swamps of far northern Ontario while I, with many more citizens like me, are having a hard time making ends meet due to loss of manufacturing jobs, among others.

I need investment and support now instead of squandering my taxes on fool hardy ventures in black fly and mosquito infested low lands for some unknown future to benefit a few villages and foreign companies.
We need you to publicize our needs and forestall gambling by our government.
