I just finished reading a book, "You Could Live a Long Time, Are you Ready?" The author has a look at 40 very old people and manages to bust some myths on aging and the aged, and how they feel they got to be the aged, and their advice as to how to live into a happy and rich old life and take care of all the issues surrounding health, wealth, living arrangements and love. In other words, how they have survived their old age, and how they have had a successful old age on their terms. A lot of surprises in this book.

It reminded me of Lethalgal, and the post re selling NOT and then the post about having changed one's mind and not selling NOT. I have certainly felt that way on more than one occasion. Once someone posted (Misfit) I think, that if you had sold at the high, you might have invested in and lost it all with the downturn in the market, never to recoup your money, whereas, sitting with NOT, the chances were excellent that you would and will recoup.

A statement in the book had to do with "not folding" as one might do in a poker game. That your "chips" would have to be taken from you physically by the "house".

It is about living the good long life. Just as it is about playing the good long game, i.e. NOT.

I hope that many who get discouraged let the board know before they do anything irrational, so that a few posts may help to see things in a different perspective.

A year ago almost exactly, I went on my yearly sabbatical trip to visit a dear old friend, and NOT climbed to over $3.00. I am due to go again, leave Monday, and hope we start that climb back up on anticipated news, and when news arrives, keep on climbing this time. This time lets hope the new will be thorough, with no indecision about NOT's gots.
