Leading the charge isn't always of the cinematic grandeur that we envision from the big screen. Sometimes it's guns blazing, sometimes it's laying in the muck in the rain, first simply surviving, then waiting for the moment to make your efforts capable of maximum impact. The troops trust the leadership and rally when it's time to forge ahead. Well troops....I can't give you facts, but I can tell you that my instincts say that the game is afoot and that we are heading into new skirmishes where we will have the chance to shine. It won't be a perfect path but there will be a lot of opportunities to be alive. Seize the day my fellow NOTSTERS when it presents.

So here I sit overlooking some of the lovely BC waters of Vanc. Isl., my thoughts on NOT are positive but not emotional, though my language may be waxing a little poetic. NOT in the end is essentially a financial instrument that can empower us financially and, with wise choices, provide us with the chance to do some very nice things for family, friends and others. Remember that all that has happened to you in your relationship with NOT was your choice... a continual series of decisions. Did you win, lose, break even, laugh, cry, experience equanimity? Your affair with NOT, if you look carefully enough, will have been a microcosm of your affair with life. I think many of us will have the chance to break with past trends and patterns that we had seemed destined to repeat..... but now a new NOT wave surges ahead.
