So much for the shorters argument that shorts is good for a stock creating more demand when they cover. The market is a shorters game unless we are in a boom time. Selling stocks you borrow is never good. It is only the people who can short that want shorting. The unequal stratagies in the marketplace is the problem from the time that internet trading has come into the picture. Unequal information and rules make for unfair markets. The governments must get with the modern age and make rules for fairness of all participants by making laws that are equal for retail and institutional investors. Why do the institutions, who use the publics money, get preffered treatment over the people that don't use the institutions. Write letters, not emails, speak by phone to your MP or politician. Complain to the right people to make a difference.
