There are two things that NOT can do to try to defend NOTs ownership. The first is to see that shares fall into friendly hands as much as possible and the second is to maximize the value of the company as quickly as they can without drawing attention to themselves. To draw attention to oneself would be to invite unwanted advances before one is able to prove up company value.

So.... NOT has been very quiet for a long time. When news was delivered it was sometimes delivered in a hazy low keyed way seemingly downplaying the results. There have been no leaks, that we know of, in a long time. Shareholders are peeved mightily, whining and complaining about the lack of progress. So I wonder what this all means. Refer to the second point in the first paragraph.

Well NOT seems to be doing a good job of not telling anyone anything. Is this good enough to keep us out of harms way. It's a start, but it in no way protects us from the potential erosion of shares from friendly hands. Look at the sp..... clearly manipulated... and it has nothing to do with the CLF/SPQ/KWG. Why is it being held down. Has someone already put NOT in their sites and is preparing to move? Will NOT have significant goodies to add to the value to command a higher offer? Has NOT managed to place enough shares in friendly hands to win over hostile advances and thus to take this company as far as they can go?

SPQ has been held down for months and the question is..... who has been accumulating shares over time, enough to take the company cheaply? I hope for the SPQ/KWG treaty to win the day, but I suspect the heavies were playing nasty long before SPQ or KWG, who sadly made a deal with the devil in the first place, had a clue which way the ill wind was blowing. I agree that there has been a massive attempt to minimize the sentiment on the ROF plays to keep people away so that they could go to work on picking shellfish off the beach once the tide had gone out. They've done such a good job that it appears that some of the large companies have missed what has been pulled out from under them while they were distracted with other potential that wasn't on swampland or containing the worthless Chromite.

What another sad statement in Canadian history to yet again have another foreign takeover of a Canadian birthright. Shame on the OSC.... shame on the Canadian governance. They of all groups know how these games are really played. I am fearful of how things can go against us but I'm hopeful that we can likewise prevail.

Finally, with all of the assault on the NOT BOD as to their malevolent intentions, some of them mine... in the past, I would submit to you that if there were any group of people stealthy and experienced enough to sail through these dangerous waters, it would be the NOT board. I'm confident that these folks will endeavour to take this thing as high and as far as it can go and if you wonder just what it is they are doing to affect this end read paragraph one and two again.
